Project Quantity Surveyor, Ballymena

Expert Construction are delighted to be working in partnership with this established Ballymena based Main Contractor to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor. With a reputation for excellence and quality across all of their delivered projects, they have worked across multiple sectors including:
Education, Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, Ecclesiastical, Industrial and Residential , building a strong Commercial team as they grow. Crucially, all of these completed and future projects have been , and will be, based in Northern Ireland. With a number of successfully tendered projects due to come to site in the next 6 months, they are seeking to add to bolster this Commercial team with the addition of a Project QS.

With at least 2-3 years working as a QS in the Commercial, Education, Ecclesiastical or Hospitality sectors, the successful candidate will be responsible for :
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be based on the site full time and report into a Senior Quantity Surveyor depending on your experience. Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, forecasts, and cashflows. Work collaboratively with operations, design, and client teams to achieve successful project delivery. Assess, price, negotiate, and agree variations, compensation events, and additional works. Build strong relationships, trust and rapport with Clients Youll ideally have:
Experience as a Project / Intermediate level QS The confidence to challenge, negotiate and make commercial decisions. A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with project teams. A QS, Commercial Management or related qualification is desirable In return for your skills and experience, the successful candidate will be rewarded with Exposure to a broad range of contracts, projects and commercial challenges.
