The opportunity

We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Editor to play a central, embedded role across one or more client accounts, ensuring the highest standards of quality across a wide range of medical communications deliverables. In this role, you'll provide expert proofreading, copyediting, styling, and formatting support across multiple formats, helping to bring complex scientific content to life with clarity, consistency, and precision.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate closely with Medical, Account, and Creative colleagues within Envision Medical Communications to deliver accurate, polished outputs on time and within budget. With a high level of autonomy and ownership, you'll become a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, helping maintain excellence across every stage of content development.

If you thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoy working with scientific content, and take pride in delivering flawless work that supports client impact, this role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution across programs and accounts.

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?

Role responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality proofreading, copyediting, styling, and formatting across a broad range of medical communications deliverables, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Apply editorial standards, client style guides, and regulatory/compliance knowledge (eg, AMA Manual of Style, disclosure standards, copyright) to maintain quality across all outputs.
  • Edit scientific and medical content for language, tone, grammar, flow, and structure, including reducing word count where required (eg, congress abstracts).
  • Partner closely with Medical, Account, and Creative teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities, ensuring deliverables meet the brief and deadlines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong accountability for timelines, quality, and budgeted hours.
  • Create and maintain account-specific style sheets and ensure consistency across materials.
  • Provide constructive editorial feedback to colleagues and support quality improvement across the team.
  • Contribute to workflow and process improvements that enhance efficiency and delivery across accounts.
  • Support proposal and pitch development through timely editorial review and quality checks.
  • Maintain accurate time tracking and awareness of project scope and budgets to support commercial goals.
  • Build strong internal relationships and communicate proactively with stakeholders to support seamless project delivery.
  • Continuously develop knowledge across therapeutic areas, deliverable types, and industry standards.
