Freelance Transcriptionists; Nordic Languages

Uber AI Solutions is seeking highly skilled Linguistic Specialists and Quality Reviewers to support the development of next-generation AI speech models. This is a critical role in building a scalable transcription program with consistent, high-quality output across Dutch, Nordic, and CEE languages.

We are currently accepting applications from professionals with native-level proficiency in the following languages:

• Dutch

• Expert Transcription: Accurately transcribe audio and video content phonetically and verbatim in your assigned language.
• Multi‑Speaker Identification: Execute detailed speaker identification for individual audio channels within complex conversations (ranging from 2 to 8 interlocutors).
• Strategic Annotation: Annotate word‑by‑word and segment‑by‑segment timestamps with precision.
• Unnormalized Capture: Follow strict unnormalized verbatim rules to capture every disfluency, stutter, and false start exactly as spoken.

• Professional
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven track record in professional translation, transcription, or linguistic consulting.
• Technical Domain Knowledge: Previous experience transcribing or using technical language in at least one of the following settings:
  Business, Healthcare, Pharma, STEM, Finance, Technology, Sales, Legal, or Social/Political topics.
• Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail regarding orthographic rules, regional varieties, and accents.
• Nuance Handling: Ability to accurately handle non‑speech events (e.g., background noise, laughter, emotional cues).
• Deadline Driven: Ability to maintain high accuracy and "one‑pass" quality under tight production deadlines.
• Volume: Steady task flow available for high‑quality contributors.
• Flexibility: Work on your own schedule, provided quality standards are met.
