Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Location:
West Sussex

Salary: £28-34,000 DOE

I'm working with an award winning AJ100 architectural practice to find a Part 2 Architectural Assistant for their modern and highly sociable studio based in West Sussex. The team delivers a broad range of projects across residential, education, commercial, healthcare and hospitality sectors, with a strong focus on sustainable and people centred design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and delivery of medium to large scale residential projects
  • Assist with the preparation of drawings and presentation material across multiple RIBA stages
  • Produce detailed plans, elevations, sections and technical information
  • Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to ensure coordinated project delivery
  • Contribute to sustainable design strategies and technical development
  • Attend meetings and support communication with clients and stakeholders
About You
  • Masters in Architecture from a RIBA accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year UK practice experience, ideally on residential schemes
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Revit experience advantageous but not essential
  • Strong design, conceptual and technical ability
  • Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, detail focused and keen to develop professionally
