Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant
27.5 hours per week 39 weeks
The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September.
The Governing Body of Ynysfach Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and highly dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The post is temporary in the first instance.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils throughout the 3-11 age range. You will need enthusiasm and commitment to working with young people. Experience of this kind of role, or of working in a primary school setting will be an advantage but is not essential.
You will need to be adaptable and flexible and enjoy a challenge.
The Governors will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:
- Enthusiasm and self motivation
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
- Good people skills with adults and children.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
