Civil Estimator

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Civil Sales Estimator for our client, a leading precast concrete manufacturer delivering high-quality products across civil infrastructure, agriculture, and building sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business with a strong reputation in the construction manufacturing sector, playing a key role in the pricing, tendering, and conversion of civil engineering projects into secured orders.

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings, Bills of Quantities, and tender documentation Support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders within required time frames Work closely with the Civil Sales Manager and estimating team to convert enquiries into orders Engage with clients and contractors in a professional and technical capacity to support commercial negotiations Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth progression from tender stage through to order processing Assist with technical queries and value engineering discussions where required About You Experience in a civils or construction estimating role (not a junior position) Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering information Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast-paced environment Strong commercial awareness with a focus on securing work and meeting deadlines Civils experience preferred, though strong transferable construction estimating experience will be considered What's on Offer On-site role based in Ballymena Supportive and collaborative team environment Investors in People Platinum accredited employer Strong pipeline of civil and precast projects across the UK and Ireland Additional company benefits package available And so much more To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Liam Williamson Senior Technical and Engineering Consultant at MCS Group Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
