- Manage own planning caseload
- Deliver Site Appraisals, Planning Statements, EIA Screenings, Design and Access Statements, and related work
- Conduct planning policy examination, feasibility and constraints analysis
- Manage stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate in-house consultants and liaise with clients
- Organise and conduct site visits and team meetings
- Schedule work
- Manage subcontractors
- Prepare, submit and monitor planning applications
- Produce fee proposals
- Work on a wide variety of projects across energy, residential, retail, utilities, mixed-use, aggregates and infrastructure sectors
- Manage own clients and caseload
- RTPI accredited degree / postgraduate degree in Town Planning
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduation professional planning experience
- Chartered or working towards membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
- Excellent working knowledge of the UK Planning system, particularly Northern Ireland
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering and managing minor and/or major planning applications
- Excellent report writing skills
- Attention to detail, reliability, and good organisational skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to project manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of the Irish Planning System would be advantageous but not essential
- Renewable energy experience is beneficial
- Ideally relevant experience in the renewables sector
- Preferably RTPI accredited or working towards accreditation
- Experience in a consultancy environment preferred
Demonstrates expertise in managing planning applications and stakeholder engagement, with a strong understanding of the UK Planning system, particularly in Northern Ireland. Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and deliver projects across various sectors, including energy and infrastructure.
