With a full copy of the spec on request, the Dual Skilled Engineer will:
Provide engineering support for planned maintenance, repairs, installations, and upgrades to ensure our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, with the aim to minimise downtime and keep all assets in top condition, helping the company achieve outstanding performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance our machinery and equipment, helping to reduce downtime and keep everything running smoothly, ensuring that the plant is always available, efficient, and productive, while maintaining the quality of produce.

Create and maintain high standards for engineering, quality, safety, and hygiene in all engineering activities. Work with employees at all levels of the business and collaborating with different departments as needed, while helping to create and maintain high standards and procedures. Make sure that all activities follow food safety rules, maintain quality, and meet legal requirements.

The Person :
Multi skilled HNC (Dual-skilled) 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. (Electrical) 5 years' minimum experience as a technician/skilled engineering craftsperson. Practical experience gained within an engineering function Demonstrable knowledge of CMMS. High levels of knowledge of functional engineering disciplines and strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to finding solutions. Willingness to engage in self-development and training as needed. Consistently works to high standards and can prioritise tasks based on workload and ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced technical environment.

Low-level management experience is a plus. Good decision-making abilities and effective communication skills; verbal and written. Capable of working well in a team or independently when required. IT Proficient with experience in Microsoft Office to create reports. Flexible in skills and able to use training across different areas without strict job boundaries. Familiar with site safety procedures, including Permit to Work and Isolation & Lock Off protocols.

Experience in coaching or training others. Knowledge of maintenance techniques and continuous improvement methods. For you: £22.77 per hour. Free Car parking.
