We are hiring for our client, an innovative and ambitious manufacturing business looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success by supporting management planning and decision-making. You will work closely with the Financial Director and Financial Controller, providing valuable insights that will help steer the business forward.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and evaluate financial information and models that will provide essential commercial guidance for the business.

  • The Role:
    • Develop and manage the business planning process, including creating detailed reports and analyzing financial metrics.
    • Prepare yearly budgets, monthly forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
    • Evaluate business cases to support investment decisions and new business strategies.
    • Create, update, and maintain financial models and forecasts.
    • Perform variance analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide commercial recommendations.
    • Coordinate with accounting staff and interact with senior management to ensure data accuracy.
    • Contribute to ERP system implementation and other strategic projects.
    The Person :
    • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business performance.
    • Strong understanding of financial forecasting and variance analysis.
    • Ability to manage relationships with senior leadership and different business functions.
    • Experience in ERP system implementation and financial modelling is advantageous.
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ideally, a professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc.).
