Account Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business seeking an Accounts Technician to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful organisation offering a varied role with exposure across all aspects of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and analysis. Processing weekly and monthly payroll. Managing bank reconciliations, payments, and cash flow forecasting. Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Preparing VAT returns and other statutory submissions. Producing financial reports and supporting the annual audit process. Criteria AAT/ATI qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Previous experience within an accounts or finance role.

Experience using Sage payroll and accounting systems. Strong Excel and IT skills. Manufacturing experience would be advantageous. What's on Offer? Competitive salary dependent on experience.
