Sense has an exciting Support Worker role within our service in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, offering you £13.00 per hour (inclusive of allowances).

A full UK Driver’s Licence, or an international licence from specific countries outlined by the government (including Zimbabwe, New Zealand and South Africa) is essential for this role.

Role Overview

You will join our fantastic team here at Dunmurry where you will be supported and able to grow and develop within your role. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
  • Positive, with a can‑do attitude.
  • Caring and empathetic.
  • Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
  • Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
  • Having at least 6 months experience in a care setting is desirable.
  • No two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support people with everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene.
  • Help with finances.
  • Assist with medication and wellbeing.
  • Accompany to the community for shopping or other trips.
  • Support social life and nightlife.
