Personal Carers

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who requires two Personal Carers. The role involves supporting an 81 year old male to remain safe, comfortable and supported in his own home. He has memory difficulties and reduced mobility and walks with the support of a frame. Care will be provided across both daytime and night time cover. Day support includes morning and evening care periods and night support involves overnight supervision and assistance.

This role is suitable for carers seeking long term and consistent work.

• Duties include companionship and reassurance, support with personal care, assistance with mobility and fall prevention.
• Meal preparation, light household tasks, maintaining a safe home environment, supporting daily routines and orientation and monitoring.

• Applicants should be kind, patient, calm and dependable, with previous experience supporting an elderly person, ideally someone with memory difficulties and limited mobility.
• A full driving licence with access to transport is essential, along with a respectful and professional approach to privacy, confidentiality and home safety.

Please note the weekly hours exceed the 48plus hour Working Time Directive and the successful applicant may be required to sign an "opt-out" form.
