GIS Technician

Headquartered at the Ecos Centre, Ballymena, Plot Box is a rapidly growing technology business with a global opportunity. The company is a scale‑up business with a dynamic team who are challenging the status quo with both software and process innovation.

We’re looking for 2 GIS Technicians to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Senior GIS Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality mapping outputs that meet customer needs while helping drive continuous improvement and innovation across our products.

This role is best suited to someone who can work independently, apply best‑practice GIS methods and tools, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business.

• Creating Cemetery Specs from Google My Maps
• Tabulating Cemetery Specs on Google Spreadsheets
• Creation of georeferenced aerial mosaics
• Using Photoshop to alter TIFFs, PNGs and JPEGs
• Creating webmaps through the use of Arc Map, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• Champion product consistency and support implementation of product standards
• Continuous innovation to improve current product capabilities
• General assistance to wider mapping team effort

• Degree in a GIS related subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience using:
• Photoshop
• Arc Map
• ArcGIS Pro
• AutoCAD
• G‑suite (mail, drive, hangout, docs) or Microsoft Office
• Google My Maps
