The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for you to step into a pivotal role as a Lead IT Business Analyst in shaping the future of regulatory technology delivery for a renowned Global Investment Bank. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and delivering complex system implementation projects across Risk, Regulatory, and Finance domains. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the bank’s compliance with evolving regulatory standards and enhance its capacity for capital management and liquidity risk management.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders across regions, and ensure that technology solutions align with strategic regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Lead IT Business Analyst within the financial services or banking sectors, with a focus on regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Extensive background in system upgrades, implementations, and direct line management of technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of key regulations such as COREP, FINREP, and the Bank of England reporting frameworks relevant to large financial institutions.
  • Experience with capital management and liquidity reporting frameworks, including CRD IV, ILAAP, and Pillar II requirements, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels, including third-party vendors and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate cross-regional teams within large-scale financial organizations.
  • Knowledge of EU regulations impacting financial risk reporting functions across multiple legal entities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in risk or project management are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of regulatory technology solutions to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end system upgrade and implementation projects, coordinating with technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex risk and regulatory concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Oversee the documentation of business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications to facilitate effective system development and deployment.
  • Ensure that all regulatory reporting obligations are accurately captured, tested, and delivered within stipulated timelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, implementing improvements to optimize efficiency and compliance.

    Lead cross-regional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring project milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices, providing strategic guidance to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support audit and compliance activities by providing comprehensive documentation and insights into system functionalities.
