A business with a strong engineering heritage and serious investment in its digital future, they are now undertaking a significant ERP transformation programme centred on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This is a technically ambitious programme with broad scope across manufacturing, finance, procurement, and operations.

The Role As ERP Solutions Architect, you will be the technical authority for the end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O implementation. You will define the architecture, shape the integration strategy, lead technical design workshops, and ensure the solution is fit for purpose across a complex manufacturing environment. Working alongside internal stakeholders, operations teams, and external implementation partners, you will guide the programme from design through to delivery.

This role is for a seasoned architect who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, and who understands the nuances of manufacturing-sector ERP.

Key Responsibilities Design and own the end-to-end solution architecture for the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation Define ERP architecture including integrations, data flows, system dependencies, and solution components Ensure the solution supports core manufacturing capabilities including production planning, BOM, shop floor control, inventory, procurement, PLM, and CRM Lead solution design workshops and technical reviews with internal teams and implementation partners Provide architectural guidance for migration from Sage Line 500 and other legacy systems Define data migration strategy, system rationalisation approach, and process redesign principles Drive integration architecture using Azure Integration Services and related Microsoft technologies Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices throughout design and delivery Maintain solution documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to align the solution with business processes What You'll Need Essential:
Proven experience as an ERP Solution Architect or Senior ERP Consultant Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX implementations Strong knowledge of integration architecture using Azure Integration Services Understanding of manufacturing business processes: production planning, BOM, inventory, procurement, supply chain

Experience with data migration strategy and execution within ERP programmes Experience managing mixed internal and external delivery teams Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business audiences Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Right to work in the United Kingdom Desirable / Nice to Have:
Experience migrating from Sage ERP (Sage 200, Sage X3, or Sage Line 500) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Exposure to Power Apps, Dataverse, or Azure Dev Ops Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification or equivalent Why Apply?
