As an Assistant Procurement Officer, you'll support the Trust's procurement team to ensure the efficient purchasing of goods and services.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with purchasing activities across a wide range of goods and services.
• Processing purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records and databases.
• Monitoring deliveries and resolving invoice or order discrepancies.
• Supporting tendering and contract administration activities.
• Ensuring procurement processes comply with Trust policies and public sector regulations.

You should have:

• A qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or another relevant discipline.

OR

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or a busy administrative environment.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
