Responsibilities

We have a great opportunity to work as a Cleaner in our extra care setting, Swann House in Saxmundham. We're looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces across all communal and staff areas—from corridors and stairways to offices, kitchens, and more. You'll also help prepare empty rooms and maintain strong infection‑control standards to ensure a safe, spotless environment for everyone.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning in accordance with agreed schedules, covering daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks.
  • Being responsible for keeping storage facilities tidy and locked when not in use in accordance with COSHH regulations.
  • Being responsible for reporting any items which are becoming worn or damaged and needing replacement.
  • Removing and disposing of litter and keeping all communal and staff areas tidy.
  • Carrying out any other cleaning works as directed by the Service Manager, such as voids.
