To oversee the operational performance of our restaurant business, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented operations manager. A strategic thinker with a solid foundation in hospitality operations is needed for this position. They must be able to oversee daily operations while maintaining efficiency, compliance, and high service standards. The chosen applicant will exhibit exceptional leadership, business acumen, and the capacity to cultivate a productive team culture in every department of the company.

Duties
  • Create and put into action operational plans to improve profitability, service quality, and efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in every department, making sure that corporate guidelines and UK hospitality laws are followed.
  • Oversee, develop, and inspire both temporary and permanent employees while promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing progress.
  • Oversee financial reporting, cost control, and budgets to make sure activities stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Communicate with delivery partners and suppliers to guarantee efficient and economical logistics and procurement.
  • Work together with chefs to create and modify meals based on consumer preferences and seasonal trends.
  • Keep an eye on and uphold strict guidelines for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
  • Respond professionally to consumer comments and grievances, guaranteeing prompt resolution and service restoration.
  • Plan employee schedules and make sure there is enough staff for each shift.
  • Advertise deals and frequently update information on the business website and digital platforms.
  • Keep thorough administrative records, particularly those pertaining to operational reporting and stock control.
  • Make sure that all food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing requirements are fully followed, and that all paperwork is appropriately documented and kept on file.
  • Examine operational performance indicators and, if required, make adjustments.
  • Create frequent reports on KPIs, operational difficulties, and business prospects for senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in an operations management position or a related function in a related industry.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and nurture groups.
  • Outstanding ability to analyse and solve problems.
  • Outstanding organising abilities and painstaking attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication abilities, as well as the capacity to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to work on weekends and holidays is a must.
