A leading M&E contractor in Northern Ireland is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead front-end project delivery from bid to handover.

This is a senior role offering autonomy, influence, and a seat at the table as the business continues to grow its commercial and public-sector portfolio.

• Lead and manage all pre-construction activity – estimating, design coordination, value engineering, and tender strategy
• Oversee bid submissions, client engagement, and early-stage planning
• Work closely with senior leadership, estimators, and operational teams
• Ensure technical compliance, programme alignment, and commercial competitiveness
• Manage internal handovers and support a smooth project launch

• Strong background in mechanical or M&E contracting (design, estimating, or project delivery)
• Experience leading pre-construction or bid functions
  
  Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder skills
• Organised, proactive, and confident under pressure
• Able to read drawings/specs and contribute technical input

• High visibility role with strategic input
