Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

A large, well-established food manufacturing business based in Ballymena is seeking an organised and proactive Engineering Stores Controller to join its maintenance team. This is a key support role within a busy manufacturing environment, helping to ensure high equipment availability and minimal downtime.

• Manage and maintain the Engineering Stores to support maintenance operations
• Use a CMMS / stock control system to manage stock levels, usage, and replenishment
• Ensure critical spares availability to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the engineering stores area
• Liaise daily with suppliers regarding parts, services, and deliveries
• Support purchasing activities when required
• Maintain accurate records and ensure stock integrity at all times

• GCSE Maths & English (Grade A-C) or equivalent
• Strong IT skills and experience working with stock or maintenance systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
• Flexible approach to support operational requirements
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (advantageous)
