Hours of work: 3 week rotation 34.5 hours per week

• Week 1 – Monday to Wednesday 06:00‑18:00
• Week 2 – Monday to Wednesday 18:00‑06:00
• Week 3 – Thursday to Saturday 06:00‑18:00

• Mark out and spray Basecoat and Direct gloss colours.
• Perform touch‑up and small paint repairs prior to sign‑off and vehicle delivery.
• Assist with paint preparation, marking up vehicles before paint.
• Safely operate plant, equipment, and hand tools associated with paint preparation and application.
• Comply with the company’s Health and Safety policy procedures.
• Undertake training or retraining related to the role or new working practices.
• Carried out any other duties conducive to effective operation of the post.

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience or time served as Spray Painter.
• Experience in spray painting with preparation knowledge.
• Experience in the commercial or car industry.
• Knowledge of clear over base and 2‑pack paint.
• Repair minor dents and perform spot repairs to paintwork.
• Knowledge of templates & marking out vehicles.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.
• Aware of general Health and Safety rules.
• Proven flexibility, willing to work overtime and adapt to changing shift patterns.
