Job Summary:

Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are recruiting for a Repair Bay Technician. The Repair Bay Technician will be responsible for the strip down and rebuild of vehicles that require major overhaul, repair, and refurbishment.

The Role:

Stripping down and rebuilding complex parts and assemblies which are variable in nature due to the size and complexity of repair. Creation of WMP's to aid in the strip down and repair of vehicles, outside of standard working practices used on the production line. Fabrication of complex parts and assemblies to support the rebuilding process. Reading and working from complex part and assembly drawings and schematics and following verbal instructions.

Moving between several distinct operations whilst maintaining high quality workmanship and overall efficiency. Fitting and assembly of metal, wood, and laminate components to vehicles during the assembly process in accordance with the customer and build specifications. Safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the manufacture, fitting or assembly of components. Compliance with the company's Health and Safety procedures.

Undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or the introduction of new working practices and training other colleagues. The Requirements: 4 years' time Served in relevant discipline e.g., Fitter, Mechanic, plumber (written confirmation required) 4 Years chassis experience/Relevant experience. Relevant experience using a variety of hand, power, and air tools Ability to read engineering drawings. Ability to work out of process safely to rebuild the vehicle.
