We are seeking an experienced CADCAM CNC Programmer to join an advanced manufacturing and engineering team based in County Tyrone. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled programmer with strong multi‑axis machining experience to play a key role in developing manufacturing processes, supporting production teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities CADCAM Programming & Manufacturing- Develop and optimise CNC programs for complex precision components.
- Utilise CADCAM software to create efficient manufacturing processes.
- Program and support 4-axis and 5-axis machining operations.
- Conduct prove‑outs and validate manufacturing processes before production release.
- Develop efficient machining strategies and tooling solutions.
- Ensure all programmes achieve required quality, cycle time and delivery targets.
- Mentor and support CNC operators and junior programmers.
- Share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
- Provide technical guidance on machining challenges and process improvements.
- Support new product introduction and manufacturing projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Assist with fixture design and process optimisation.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams.
- Proven experience as a CAD/CAM CNC Programmer.
- Strong knowledge of multi‑axis machining.
- Experience programming complex precision‑engineered components.
- Proficiency in CADCAM software such as CATIA, Hypermill or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and programming issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience mentoring or supervising technical teams is desirable.
