Stores & Inventory Supervisor

Location:

Ballymena Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week) Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Flexi-time available, with hours able to be worked between7:30am and 6:00pm. Overview We are currently recruiting for aStores & Inventory Supervisor to join a leading precast concrete manufacturer based in Ballymena. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stores or warehouse professional looking to join a well-established company offering long-term career progression, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of materials, tools, consumables, and inventory, helping to support production while maintaining accurate stock control and minimising waste.

The Role Duties will include:
Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records. Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries. Verifying incoming materials against purchase orders. Carrying out regular stock counts and reconciling inventory. Monitoring stock usage and maintaining optimum stock levels. Maintaining ERP system records and inventory documentation. Managing the Kanban replenishment system. Communicating with production teams to forecast material requirements. Investigating and reporting stock discrepancies or damaged goods.

Ensuring the stores area is clean, organised and safe. Supervising and supporting store personnel. Promoting high standards of housekeeping, teamwork and health & safety. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Requirements Essential Previous experience working within a stores or materials management role. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience managing stock and inventory.

Good communication skills. Ability to prioritise workloads and respond to changing business needs. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Experience leading or supervising a team. Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. Desirable 35 years' experience in a similar role.

Experience with in manufacturing or construction. Understanding of inventory control methods and stock management. Knowledge of how stores operations impact production costs and efficiency.
