A leading trading company is seeking a commercially minded, technical, and highly motivated self‑starter with a genuine passion for business growth across Europe, working remotely from the UK or Germany.
TYPE:
Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
SALARY:
Up to £80k - £100k depending on experience + car allowance
LOCATION:
Fully remote from the UK
- Develop and execute market strategies, setting clear visions and priorities, and effectively communicating these with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Operate effectively within a diverse, multicultural organisation, applying strong business acumen to define growth initiatives and manage structured plans based on technical needs to achieve agreed objectives
- Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities within assigned advanced materials and chemicals markets
- Demonstrate a dynamic, proactive approach with the drive and confidence to engage and influence key decision makers
- Analyse and interpret markets and technology trends, translating insights into actionable opportunities aligned with the Group’s product portfolio and strategic scope
- Generate and champion new business ideas that support sustainable business growth
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers, clearly articulating and demonstrating the value proposition of the company technologies
- Collaborate closely with prospective customer technical and management teams to stay informed of future product and technology development cycles
- Formulate robust internal and external proposals based on the company’s technical capabilities, market needs, and overall business strategy
- Support product launches and market entry activities, working across technical, commercial, and channel partners in this broad and cross‑functional role
- Drive strategic customer and partner relationships, securing early‑stage technology adoption, design‑ins, and long‑term collaboration aligned with the company’s future product and application roadmaps.
- Business or Technical Degree. Or equivalent commercial experience and knowledge.
- Commercial and / or technical experience in any of the following disciplines is desired.
- Inkjet Technologies and Inkjet Inks
- Polarizers, Retarders and optical films
- Thermoset resin technology for Advanced Materials Markets
- Electronic Materials / Semiconductors, CFRP Composite Polymers, Display Technologies
- Significant Industry Experience; 7+ years B2B related sales or technical experience
- History of working in a multicultural and matrix style organisation
- Fluent in Written and Spoken English
- Ability to travel within Europe ~25-30%. Some global travel will be required
