IT Sales Manager – Managed Services - MSP

Be the first hire in a new managed services division and help build it from day one. About Overline Overline Network Consultants has supported UK businesses since 1994. In that time, we've helped more than 4,000 companies in sectors including legal, finance, healthcare and recruitment stay connected through our communications, connectivity and IT solutions. We're now launching a dedicated Managed Services division , and this is our first hire into it.

You won't be starting from nothing. You'll have an established brand, a large existing customer base to sell into, a skilled team of engineers and support staff, and 30 years of trusted relationships behind you. The opportunity This isn't a typical sales job. As the first person in the department, you'll help shape how we take managed IT services to market.

That includes the proposition, the sales process and the team that grows around it. We want someone who wants to build something, not just join something already running. What you'll be doing Win new managed services contracts with SME and mid-market businesses Generate your own leads through cold calling, networking, Linked In, referrals and events Cross-sell managed IT into Overline's existing customer base Hold consultative conversations with business owners, finance directors and IT decision-makers Work with our technical team to scope solutions and write proposals Help shape the service offering, pricing and sales process using what you hear from the market Build monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and lay the foundations of the department Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the team expands About you Proven B2B IT or MSP sales experience.

This is essential. A track record of self-generating leads and closing managed services or recurring-revenue deals A true hunter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable building a pipeline from scratch Keen to influence strategy and help build a new department Confident talking about technology with non-technical decision-makers Strong negotiation and closing skills Full UK driving licence What's in it for you £50,000 basic salary Uncapped commission , paid [e.g. as a multiple of MRR / on contract value / monthly] OTE £75,000 in year one, with no ceiling beyond that £500 per month car allowance and all expenses paid A ground-floor opportunity with real influence over how the division grows Clear progression as the department grows The backing of an established, people-driven business with a 30-year reputation Ready to build something?
