Hours of work: 4 day week, Monday to Thursday

• Compliance with the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
• Ensure workshop policies are adhered to.
• Carry out work to Wrightbus agreed quality standard and ensure all sign‑offs and procedures are complied with.
• Install the vehicle electrical control system to the specification requirements detailed by relevant documentation.
• Install and modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as per contract build documentation.
• Terminate automotive and high voltage connections up to 800 V AC or DC.
• Test and commission the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation.
• Fault find and repair the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
• Ensure installation is completed within allocated process time.
• Be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
• Undertake training or retraining associated with the post or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes, including training of others.

• Time served automotive, domestic or industrial electrician.
• Capability to work on systems up to 600 V AC or DC.
• Capability to read wiring diagrams.
• Experience routing and connecting various cable types.
• Basic fault‑finding techniques.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake or provide training as required.
• Awareness of general Health and Safety rules.
• Proven flexibility, ability to work overtime and change shift patterns as required.
