Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Solutions Engineer | Outside IR35 | Remote (UK) | 6-Month Contract

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help extend and enhance our AI Operating System, delivering scalable, LLM-powered solutions across defence, legal, health, infrastructure, and consulting sectors. Day rate is negotiable depending on level of experience and industry background (ideally the above)!

You’ll lead on rapid prototyping, development, and deployment of AI applications working directly with clients to translate complex problems into production-ready solutions.

• Build and integrate Python-based APIs and tools for AI-driven platforms.
• Design and deploy LLM-powered agents using frameworks like Lang Graph, Llama Index, or OpenAI Agent
  
  SDK.
• Work with LLMs such as Llama, Qwen, Gemma, and OpenAI/Gemini.
• Implement testing, evaluation, and guardrails for prompt and agent reliability.
• Apply AI tech across RAG, Graph
  
  RAG, knowledge graphs, and vector databases.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer or AI Developer.
• Proven experience building and deploying LLM-based applications.
• Strong Python and FastAPI skills.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• Experience with:

  RAG / RAG | Docker / GCP / AWS
