• Lead feature-by-feature decommissioning of the Ruby monolith
• Drive architectural decisions and help shape the long‑term evolution of the platform
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to propose and implement safe, aggressive extraction strategies
• Ensure high‑quality, reliable code with comprehensive unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests
• Maintain documentation, observability solutions, and performance monitoring across the platform

• Strong experience in Django or Ruby (with willingness to learn the other)
• Advanced experience in Java or Rust (with willingness to learn the other)
• Familiarity with Python
• RESTful API and Graph
  
  QL development
• Database design and optimization (
  Postgres, MySQL, Redis
  )
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development is a plus

• Proven ability to lead complex engineering initiatives
• Strong collaboration and communication with product and engineering teams
