Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Apache Solr.
Strong understanding of:
- Solr Architecture
- Collections and Cores
- Schema Design
- Query Parsers
- Faceted Search
- Full‑Text Search
- Indexing Strategies
- Replication and Sharding
- Solr Cloud
Experience with Solr configuration files:
- schema.xml / Managed Schema
- solrconfig.xml
Strong knowledge of search relevance tuning.
Experience with REST APIs and JSON/XML.
Good understanding of search optimization and indexing performance.
Familiarity with Linux environments.
Experience using Git or other version control systems.

Preferred

Skills:

Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Knowledge of Apache Lucene.
Experience working with Elasticsearch is an added advantage.

Mandatory Requirements:

4–5 years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Apache Solr.
Hands‑on experience in implementing enterprise search solutions.
Experience in search performance tuning and optimization.
