MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a successful, locally owned business as they look to recruit a .NET Developer to join their growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer early in their career to join a well-established organisation that continues to invest in digital transformation. Working closely with an experienced Senior Developer, you'll play a key role in developing and enhancing the company's ecommerce platform while contributing to internal systems that improve operational efficiency.
The Role As a .NET Developer, you will:
Develop, maintain and enhance the company's ecommerce platform. Support the design and development of internal business systems and applications. Work across the full software development lifecycle on new features and enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Troubleshoot issues, identify improvements and implement effective resolutions. Provide wider support to the internal IT function where required.
What You'll Need Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or at least 1 year's commercial web development experience. Commercial experience with C#, .NET and MVC development. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices. Experience working with relational databases. Strong problem-solving ability with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage your own workload and meet project deadlines.
Desirable Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Microsoft or web development certifications.
