We are currently recruiting an experienced Air Freight Forwarder to join a large, well-established logistics company based in Derby. This is a permanent night shift role within a growing operation offering excellent long-term career prospects.

Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 8:00am

• Salary up to £38,000 (dependent on experience)

• Managing end-to-end air freight operations from booking through to final delivery
• Creating, processing and amending Air Waybills (AWB)
• Handling AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments and time-critical consignments
• Processing Dangerous Goods (DG) in line with IATA regulations
• Liaising with airlines, handling agents, customers and overseas offices
• Monitoring shipments and providing proactive updates to customers
• Preparing export and import documentation
• Ensuring compliance with customs, airline and company procedures
• Resolving operational issues quickly and efficiently during the night shift
• Maintaining accurate records within freight forwarding systems

• Proven experience in air freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of AWB processes
• Dangerous Goods experience is essential
• AOG experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently on night shifts
• Strong organisational and communication skills
