Bus Driver (Road Testing Role) - Ballymena

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

6 + month contract

Driver Hire Belfast is currently seeking an experienced Bus Driver for an immediate start in Ballymena. This is a unique opportunity for drivers who enjoy being on the road but prefer a role without passenger responsibilities.

As part of this position, you will be responsible for conducting road tests on buses to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance before returning to service.

• Collect buses from the client's site
• Carry out road testing routes of up to 500 miles
• Assess vehicle handling, performance, and roadworthiness
• Report any defects or issues identified during testing
• Ensure all testing is completed safely and professionally

• No passenger transport
• No customer-facing duties
• Focus solely on driving and vehicle testing
• Monday to Friday working pattern

• Full Category D (Bus) Driving Licence
• Previous bus driving experience preferred
• Strong awareness of vehicle safety and road regulations
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

• Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 7:00am
• Finish Time: Dependent on workload
