Full-time permanent position. Opportunity to take responsibility for a key production function. Management of an established team of 1520 employees. Opportunity to contribute to process improvement and the continued growth of the business. A varied and hands-on management role within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations and supervise the production team. Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines. Monitor productivity, quality and workflow performance. Allocate work and maintain staffing levels. Lead, train and support team members. Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Drive process improvements and reduce waste. Liaise with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse and Installation teams. Monitor stock and material availability.
Investigate and resolve production issues. Maintain accurate production records and reports. Ensure health & safety and housekeeping standards are met. Monitor equipment and report maintenance requirements. Provide production updates to senior management. Criteria:
Previous experience in a Production Management, Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Management role. Experience managing and motivating a team within a manufacturing environment. Strong organisational and planning skills. A good understanding of production processes and workflow. Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues. Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
