Job Overview
Bank Housing Support Worker (Supported Living Service) based in Ballynahinch. This role requires a female staff member due to a Genuine Occupational Qualification, particularly because the role involves sleepover shifts in the home of a female service user.
Key Information- Salary: £13.21 per hour (plus per shift payment for sleepover)
- Hours:
Bank hours - Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata)
- Location:
Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
Provide long‑term accommodation and housing support to adults with a learning disability, assisting tenants to live independently in their local community and working alone with female service users in their homes during sleepover shifts.
Qualifications & Skills- Communication, care, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting the health, wellbeing and human rights of all service users.
- Background checks including two satisfactory references and an enhanced Access
NI Check are mandatory.
- Comprehensive orientation & induction programme.
- Excellent in‑house training programme (online e‑learning platform and face‑to‑face).
