Trainee Assistant Manager

THE EMPLOYER IS: STUMPJUMP LTDYou will support the Bar Owner with day-to-day operations of the bar while developing skills, knowledge and leadership experience. The trainee will learn all aspects of bar management to undertake customer service, stock control and compliance.

• Assist in smooth day-to-day running of the bar.
• Ensure bar areas are clean, stocked and well presented.
• Assist with stock control and rotation.
• Support stock take and deliveries.
• Learn ordering procedures.
• Learn best practice Health and Safety and compliance.
• Assist with marketing and social media.
• Assist with further development of the business.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Willingness to learn.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous bar, hospitality or customer facing experience.
• Knowledge of drinks.
• Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Reliable and punctual.
