Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team, with a focus on supporting our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and driving process improvements across our accounting functions. Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to align financial reporting with production metrics.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
