Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
