Hotel Accounting Manager

Are you a financial specialist capable of assisting with overseeing daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on profitability? You might be the perfect candidate for our next accounting manager! We seek a passionate, detail-oriented specialist who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary modifications that affect the hotel's bottom line by focusing on profitability. You will be in charge of payroll processing, monthly forecasting, reconciling general ledger accounts, and creating an annual budget.

Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance and at least three years of management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you!

• Review the daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability, reconcile general ledger accounts, review any account discrepancies, and make corrections
• Undertake regular payroll audits and distribute paychecks to all employees
• Increase profitability by evaluating balance sheets, income, expense accounts, and recommended adjustments while preserving accuracy
• Effectively monitor and track all accounts receivable, while also creating and controlling accounts payable invoicing
• Support the daily accounting operations with the creation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets

• Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Exemplary communication skills, math skills, strong leadership skills, and customer service skills are vital
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as Quickbooks
• 3+ years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotel

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 per year
