This Division Fiscal Operations Officer (Accountant II) position monitors the fiscal operations of the Division of Recoveries Financial Services and serves as the Managed Care Organization liaison for Third Party Liability and recoveries issues. The role is located in the Maryland Department of Health's Office of Finance in Baltimore and ensures fiscal integrity of divisional operations while responding to audit findings.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university with three credit hours in auditing
- Two years of experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports
- Experience delivering account information to an auditor
- Experience conducting audits
- Experience performing daily reconciliation
