Reporting to the Controller and the CFO, the Accounting Manager will supervise a team of 3–4 accounting professionals and play a key role in strengthening accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and finance support across U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and prepare financial statements, reconciliations, supporting schedules, journal entries, accruals, allocations, and related analysis

Lead the monthly and year-end close processes for accounting operations

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of work papers and month-end deliverables

Maintain strong internal controls and high standards of financial reporting

Partner with finance leadership on audit preparation and external audit support

Support cross-functional finance initiatives and special projects as needed

Support financial activities tied to programs and grant-related operations

Assist with budget review, reporting, and financial monitoring

Supervise, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals

Help manage reporting requirements tied to funding sources and other compliance obligations

Develop, update, and maintain accounting procedures, process documentation, and internal policy support materials
