Office Assistant, Student Success Center – Part Time
The purpose of this position is to ensure that visitors to various departments at CCBC are greeted, directed appropriately, and that all are aware of acceptable behavior policies.
Positions are located on the Essex, Dundalk, and Catonsville campuses and this is a part‑time position, 19.5 hours per week.
Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma / GED.
Work Hours and Shifts- Monday & Tuesdays 8:30 am – 1:00 pm / 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday & Thursdays 8:30 am – 2:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Fridays 8:30 am – 12:30 pm / 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
- Saturdays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Scheduling student appointments and maintaining the appointment schedule.
- Greeting and directing visitors to appropriate areas and answering the telephone.
- Organizing student files and folders.
- Collecting and entering student data.
- Supplemental retirement annuities: 403(b) and 457(b).
- Parking: free parking with a permit from the Department of Public Safety.
- Sick and safe leave: paid for part‑time employees.
Parking permits can be obtained from the Department of Public Safety. The 403(b) and 457(b) retirement plans are available to all CCBC employees, including part‑time associates.
