spiration music is an EDM record label supporting hundreds of artists. The company consists of one person (me, Alex) who needs to start delegating operational tasks. The role is part-time 5-10 hours per week. As the label grows the role will increase in hours until it is a full-time position. The job is currently remote but will be on-site when the role transitions to full-time.

Role Description

The Label Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the flow of new songs from their acceptance to their release. This includes:

• Uploading songs for distribution through Route Note with proper metadata (pretty easy to learn)
• Using our (very proprietary) CRM (aka google sheets with a bunch of formulas) to track release progress
• Collecting required files / contracts from artists and organizing them into Google Drive
• Answering questions for artists over email
• Pitching artists with accepted demos why they should release with us (I've got a script for you)
• Managing the the owner's (me) email inbox
• Posting pre-made social media posts
• Updating playlists and link trees on release days

Qualifications

• Experience using spreadsheets
• Concise and warm communication over email
• Enjoys and listens to EDM
• Looking to grow with the label
• Able to problem-solve independently
• Willing to work on-site once the role is full-time

Pay

• $22 per hour starting
