Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Leadership & Oversight
  • Manage and develop the AP team, providing guidance, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the AP function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
Process Management
  • Maintain and enhance AP policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company standards and financial regulations.
  • Oversee the month‑end and year‑end closing processes related to AP, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, including proper handling of W‑9s and 1099s.
Vendor & Stakeholder Relations
  • Manage vendor inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and foster positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Accounting, and other departments to streamline purchase‑to‑pay processes.
Technology & Reporting
  • Oversee AP system implementations or upgrades and optimize automation tools (e.g., ERP, OCR, or workflow systems).
  • Prepare and analyze AP metrics and reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
  • 5‑8 years of progressive accounts payable experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
