Capco is a fully independent, global management and technology consultancy delivering business consulting, digital transformation and technology services to Finance and Energy markets.

This role supports clients through analysis, design and consulting support, bridging user‑functionality and system development. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, creating functional specifications, conducting market research, producing consulting deliverables, and proposing enhancements to current processes.

• Facilitate client workshops, conduct structured gathering, research and analysis.
• Develop procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between current and future state.
• Create business requirement documents (BRD) and use cases/functional specifications for customization.
• Gather functional requirements, user stories, and document business, data, application, and technology architectures and rules.
• Design business process models, logical data models, standards and guidance.
• Document and resolve software defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end‑user satisfaction.
• Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications to optimize system effectiveness.
• Conduct customer interviews and produce meeting summaries.
• Conduct market/client research and industry analysis of requirements.
• Produce high‑quality verbal and written consulting deliverables (proposals, presentations, reports).
• Generate reusable intellectual capital in the form of consulting methodology, templates, blueprints and business cases.
• Basic scripting and project plans.

• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Retail Energy experience such as CIS/Billing, EDI, Customer Care, Sales and C&I/Mass Market products (must have).
• Other related experience such as wholesale, settlements, utilities or trading is a plus.
• Experience working for a management consulting firm preferred.
• Solid Business Analyst skills including interviewing client executives to gather and document business requirements and process mapping.
• Strong presentation skills, extensive experience writing successful project proposals, experience planning and executing related projects.
• Demonstrate project management skills and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; major in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business or Financial Engineering preferred.
• Advanced degree is desirable.
