Procurement Manager

Summary: This position manages sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and cost reduction strategies while ensuring the timely procurement of materials. You will support the company by identifying supply chain efficiencies and assisting the growth and innovation objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with different departments to identify and integrate new materials, providing timely support for product innovation and successful launches.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of a strategic sourcing strategy, emphasizing cost efficiency, environmental sustainability, and dependable supplier partnerships.
• Track industry trends, raw material projections, and commodity price fluctuations to enable informed and forward-looking procurement decisions.
• Manage the creation and authorization of purchase orders, bids, and requisitions, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and procurement policies.
• Maintain and update purchasing data within the ERP system, including generating receiving tickets and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records.
• Train and support a small team of direct reports, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance operations.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing setting
• Skilled in using ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong proficiency in Excel.
• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Salary range $120,000 - $135,000 per year
