The Minority Business Enterprise Program (MBE) Compliance Officer analyzes goal requests, contract compliance, and reporting for MBE, Veterans Small Business Enterprise (VSBE), and Small Business Reserve (S ) programs within the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. The role conducts research to evaluate small and minority business participation in procurement categories, prepares meeting documentation, and distributes executed contracts to managers and procurement officers.
Keyqualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; three years of administrative or professional work experience
- One year of experience supporting MBE leadership in developing policies and procedures for socioeconomic programs (MBE, S , VSBE, SBP)
- Two years of experience working with procurement officers, contractors, and certified MBE firms on service or supply contracts
- Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license for assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree may substitute for required work experience
