Daksta is currently exclusively partnered with a leading top 200 ENR ranked commercial GC, headquartered in Maryland, with revenues at $750M.

They’re seeking a lead commercial superintendent to lead projects in the Maryland region ranging from $30M‑$100M.

The Company:

A Maryland‑based commercial general contractor working in a huge range of markets including commercial, government, education, life science, mission critical, residential and more – working on projects up to $1B.

The company has a strong backlog of work in Maryland and does not do layoffs or ask their supers to do excessive travel. This hire is purely because of continuous strategic growth.

The ideal candidate will be ambitiously trying to grow into a senior super position, and eventually a general superintendent role. This is a long‑term hire for the business, not just a project‑specific hire.

The culture is one that has a strong family feel – not too big that you get lost in the big corporate machine, but not small enough where they struggle to win work or have impact.

• Provide onsite field leadership of commercial projects ranging from $30M–$100M.
• Act as the project field lead, reporting directly to the senior superintendent.
• Adhere to standard health and safety standards.
• Drive project execution by overseeing teams, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Walk the site to ensure quality is to a high standard.
• Have oversight of assistant superintendents.

• 3+ years minimum spent as a lead superintendent.
• Experience leading ground‑up commercial construction builds, $30M+.
• Strong client interfacing and communication skills.
• Strong job tenure with minimal job moves.
• Experience in mission critical preferred.

• Strong base salary, ranging from $130,000 – $160,000 depending on experience.
• Strong performance‑related bonuses.
