Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction projects from initial planning through successful completion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role requires a proactive, hands‑on professional who can manage complex projects, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, including pre‑construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal construction teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining high productivity and morale.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive strategies to mitigate issues and maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, building codes, industry standards, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and closeout materials to ensure proper record‑keeping and accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance, identifying efficiencies, and implementing best practices across multiple projects.
  • Support business development efforts by providing input on project proposals, cost estimates, and scheduling feasibility.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and resolve conflicts among diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
