This Construction Project Manager will oversee, manage, drive, and successfully implement the planning, design, and construction phases for entertainment, gaming, and hospitality projects in a fast‑paced environment. The position is based in Baltimore, MD.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manage new construction, renovation, fit‑out, and large‑scale capital projects ranging from $1M to $20M, acting as point person from design through completion.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and cost analysis for multiple projects.
- Oversee contractor and vendor buyout, employing procurement methodologies and construction contracts.
- Lead weekly project progress and reporting meetings.
- Coordinate daily communication among ownership, design team, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Drive the overall development schedule across all phases: design, procurement, construction, and closeout, meeting strict deadlines.
- Travel to project sites as required, including overnight stays and on‑site presence.
- Strong attention to detail, event tracking, and follow‑up on all project‑related tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and effective communication, with knowledge of construction codes and terminology.
- Team oriented with a sense of urgency, motivating others and managing tasks to completion.
- Problem‑solving ability, interpersonal skills, and self‑motivation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Blue Beam, CAD, Plan Grid, Procore, and other construction project management software.
- Strong time‑management skills handling multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines.
- Undergraduate degree in construction, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in a project management role as an owners’ representative or general contractor within the construction industry (restaurant, gaming, hospitality experience preferred).
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong working knowledge of construction documents, details, and specifications.
The compensation range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000 annually.
